This saddle is at least 30 years old. It is comfortable. Unfortunately through the winter whilst I have not been able to ride it has got attacked by a rat... but not being able to afford a new one I covered the damage with a sheepskin saddle saver... I have used this on my TB for 5 years and its not been a problem. It is ideal for someone who only rides occasionally and just needs a functional saddle which this is. I have been as honest as I can with the damage and picture show the damage. I have listed it realistically as we can not all afford a new saddle prices. This is an old saddle and still has a little life left. I don't know the make as the plate is worn and can not be seen. Happy bidding

The Grandee is a broad, armchair seat with nice knee blocks a great GP saddle for Hunting, Hacking and showing. Brown synthetic treeless saddle. Approx 18'' seat and 8'' wide though it is obviously flexible so it gives to accommodate most. We used this for 6 months as our horse was changing shape. It is VERY comfortable but my daughter had issues with the stirrups falling off the stirrup bars during jumping. Because of this I would say it would be best used for gentle hacking, schooling without stirrups or to use for breaking when you don't want your best saddle ruined. It is supremely light. If you would like details measurements please ask. I am struggling to measure from the back of the cantle to silver button as there isn't one! Collection only from Marshfield nearby junction 18 of M4 between Bristol and Bath.
