Ideal brand GP, saddle, unsure of age of this saddle however it is in very good condition. Lovely deep seat, it measures 17'' and is stamped on the stirrup bar as narrow. I have measurements from d-d of 8'' and inside of gullet padding of 5''   All stitching and girth straps in great condition, and ready to use.   It is quite a heavy saddle so postage will be fairly heafty, so collection would be preferable.

Ideal saddle 18",was used for hunting on a med to wide Irish sports horse. Very comfortable saddle well padded seat and pommel,wide panels to distribute weight evenly.Long knee blocks so give a good leg position and back blocks for secure seat. Stamped. M. on stirrup bar. All stitching seems sound this has been a well looked after saddle but is too big for me. Please look at photos carefully for sizing or ask questions.

Crown ideal saddle, size medium  +1 (med/wide), 16.5 inch seat I am 5.3 and weigh 9st and it is a beautiful fit, if has good leg blocks which hold you in the saddle and gives a very secure feeling, no damage all girth straps saddle in great condition just general wear. Only for sale as sold the horse it fitted which was a 15.2 thoroughbred x arab a stamp of a riding horse. Original price £ purchased two years ago with little use as horse mainly showing.

Stunning ideal show saddle  only being sold as no longer competing. beautiful tones of brown leather, always commented on at shows, really stands out as a true show saddle had offers at the time to purchase but didn't want to sell at that time all stitching is perfect as girth straps etc there is no marks on saddle just a small amount of general wear.

The Grandee is a Deluxe General Purpose saddle. This one as you can see is Brown/Havanna. The Grandee is a broad, armchair seat with nice knee blocks a great GP saddle for Hunting, Hacking and showing. It has a square cantle which gives a flatter seat and is a more forward cut GP saddle so can be used for jumping and hunting as well as general work and exercise. I used this for my 16.3 ISH he has since retired and it's just too Long in the seat for daughters 15hh cob. It's a wide fit please, although there is a M stamped on the stirrup bar, please see photo's for fit the measurements are 10" D to D. It has a very secure and comfortable seat and is secure, and flexible with its uses, I am sorry to see this go, but pointless keeping it as looking for a 17" now. Tree has been checked and confirmed sound a comfortable general purpose saddle, the saddle has been replated with Specialised Saddles who originally supplied but can guarantee it is an Ideal saddle, grab a bargain as these retail around £.
