Here I have for sale a 17.5 saddle made by m&j saddlery Lichfield. It is a wide measuring 9.5 inches between the d's and 5 inches between the front panels. As illustrated you can see this saddle was for a section d mare and fit her very well. However she is now up for sake hence selling this saddle. Valued by my saddler at around £300 but realistically I expect around £200. It is a very comfy saddle, has a good semi deep seet a slightly longer cantle for security over jumps and knee and thigh rolls for maximum security. Cannot fault this saddle, can be used for all disciplines or as an everyday hacking saddle as it's so comfy. For any more pics/info please ask. Very realistically priced so grab a bargain!!

Ideal International Event saddle 17" Wide, Havana. 10" D to D. The bar is stamped W. There are a couple of little scuff marks on saddle and there are no labels but the saddle has never been used. These saddles are approx £ from Ideal. This saddle and a medium fit black Ideal event were part of a number of items bought from a saddlery that was closing down in Sheffield.   Shires Windsor close contact eventing saddle 16inc medium to wide fitting.   Immaculate condition very well looked after. Stamped shires Leominster English leather.   Approx 2 years old. Well oiled had always been coverd up.   All straps and flaps & panels are in perfect condition. Recently reflocked. Air filled kneelrolls so very comfortable for horse and rider.   Pictures do not do this beautiful saddle any justice. I am open to viewings if anyone would like to try it.   Only selling due to no longer fitting my odd shaped tb.   I think this has a spring tree so can be adjusted ether side by your local saddle fitter.   Will been sent by herms delivery. Has been used used on a 16.2 thoroughbred who was now changed shape so no longer fits. This is a really comfy saddle which holds you in like an armchair. Black English made GP/Event   saddle. Made by GFS. Good quality, sought after saddles. British standard on the stirrup bar and serial number stamped on sweatflap.  Measures 17" from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures 9" across the dee's. This is a nice wide fit. Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Normal signs of use. Flair air flocked panels. Gorgeous Ideal GP/event saddle. Black Leather. '' seat '' d-d Medium Wide fit Decent knee rolls and slimline thigh blocks. 3 girth straps each side in good condition. Sound tree, bars and panels - professional panel work as per photos. Lovely leather suppleness and thickness - some small areas of fading to seat and flaps as shown. Small area of cosmetic stitching on right saddle skirt is present underneath stirrup cover but missing on top as per both photos....skirt still fully intact and not separating in any way and this does not impair the use of the saddle - not visible until inspected closely and not visible at all when being ridden in. Usual very minor use related wear to cantle/pommel etc. if desired, purchaser will need to buy new girth guards. Trials welcome - collect from Hereford. Offers invited. Advertised locally so reserve the right to sell.
