Details about   17" M Barrie Swain GP Saddle. Medium Fit.

Brown English made GP  by Barrie Swain. British standard on the stirrup bar and serial number stamped on the plate.  Very comfy. With a full french serge panel with quilting on the sweatflap. Good knee block. Scrumph hide on the seat and knees. Good all round saddle - would look equally neat in the show ring for WH. Measures just over 17" from stud to centre of cantle.  Measures a good 8" across the dee's. This is a nice medium fit. Flap measures 15" from stirrup bar to bottom.  Tree is sound. The stitching is strong and girth straps are sound and solid. Normal signs of  use. Nice wool flocked panels are soft and even. Beautiful leather quality, soft and supple throughout. Has a small repair to the underside of the panel where the serge has worn slightly - not seen or felt in use. Please see pic. Pics really do not do this saddle justice. Details about   17.5" MW Medium Wide Black Dressage Saddle

inches from D-D approx Medium Wide (my measurements shown in pictures) Black Dressage Saddle for sale. Stamps are unreadable so have shown my own measurements. Made in England by Champion Saddlery with Long Billets. Well used saddle kept in good condition with few blemishes and 2 small breaks in the stitching (please see pictures) one is behind knee roll on right side and the other is bottom right of the left side of the saddle - Both of these are EASILY repaired as it is just where the stitching has become loose and I haven't gotten round to fixing it. Lovely cut back pommel which is great for high withered horses. Width - I have measured the width from D to D which isn't 100% accurate as it can vary between saddles, however 9 inches should be a Medium Wide width saddle. As far as I have found the saddle is in great working order and has many more years use in it. I have no use for it any longer. Please ask any questions regarding the saddle. Thanks
