Due to the passing of my faithful friend I have now decided to sell my saddle. It is a brown leather Farringtons GP saddle. It measures17.5" from stud on pummel to centre of cantle and from D ring to D ring 9.5".The saddle is in good used condition and has only been used twice since it was re-flocked, the girth straps are like new. The colour is faded in areas and there are marks and scratches throughout but there is loads of life left in the saddle. I did purchase it as a used saddle but I have lovingly cared for it by cleaning and treating it regularly. Due to the size and weight the saddle is being offered for pick up only.

 General Purpose English leather saddle by Ideal. 17.5" from cantle to stud. Medium/narrow. D - D (top ones) is approx 8.5" Brown with paler seat and knee rolls. Extremely comfortable saddle. One of those that seems to fit several horses on our yard, just frustratingly not mine! This belonged to my old girl who was pts earlier this year. It's a lovely saddle and a hard sale, but needs must. She was a 16hh fairly solid Polish Warmblood, initially always a medium but changed shape slightly with age and I changed to this one. The saddle itself has been checked over by a saddler who's given it the ok. Although in good condition, you can see from the top it has noticeable water marks. I bought it second hand like this and nearly always used a seat saver. Good solid saddle by a reputable maker. Please can winning bidder pay within 48 of auction ending. A great saddle that will really be able to cover all jobs with enough seat and saddle flap length to school in, comfortable enough to hack in for hours and forward cut enough to jump in. A true G.P. It has good weight bearing panels and enough width through the gullet to make it comfortable for the horse. Measures 8" d to d and approximately 2 1/2" in the middle of the gullet.  Photos really do not do this beautiful saddle justice. This is made form buttery soft leather and has gel-filled knee rolls and a very generously padded seat. The panels are very well cushioned with lovely soft flock and with a great weight-bearing surface and it has a nice wide channel for great spinal clearance. In excellent used condition. The usual marks from where the stirrup leathers sit but not other marks or scratches to mention. The first girth strap is slightly stretched, but again, usual for a used saddle. The buyer will not be disappointed with this saddle. This was priced at £450 in my shop, but the shop has now closed and I am selling the last of my stock with no reserve. Tree is sound, as is everything else on this stunning saddle. Medium width (see photos for measurement). 17.5" seat. Dark brown leather.

Please take an extra note of the terms at the bottom as there very strict and if you do not wish to stick to them PLEASE do NOT buy.   Right in this listing:   English leather 17- inch brown Endurance /GP saddle+ FREE GIRTH   In lovely condition for a older saddle, its been well looked after, no damage, 100% sound. Nice deep seat & good nice knee blocks for extra support. 2 d-rings each side at the back for attaching saddle bags. Nice wide panels make it comfortable for the horse by spreading the riders weight more evenly, which is even more important on long rides.   Measures approx 7-1/2 inches d-ring to d-ring I would say approx. a medium fit but see photos and decide for yourself. My friend had it fitted to her Arab.   Although no maker’s plate, it is a well made saddle with nice quality English leather. It does have a serial number stamped under the flap, which I have shown in the photos.   Shows normal signs of use (such as small marks/some rubbing etc) as you’d expect from any used saddle, and has a couple of water stains on the back panel (shown in photos) and some fading to the leather mainly on the seat again shown in photos.   Girth straps are used but plenty of wear left and I would still consider them in good condition.   Really comfy saddle, bargain for an endurance saddle!   Free girth included (very basic GP girth, still useable tho)   PLEASE VIEW photos ALL cosmetics are shown   Bargain price.   AGAIN please ONLY bid if you agree to all terms in listing description ONLY!
