So far, it has proven to have all the qualities necessary for producing sport horses. This is why the Danube horse breed is actively engaged in producing sport horses in Bulgaria. This is bonnie, I bought her a year ago as a wild pony I was told came from the new forest and hadn't been touched. The lady I bought her from had her for a year before I bought her but didn't do much work with her. I spent a lot of time in the summer with her and managed to fight with her to get a head collar and lead rope on (by fight I mean it took 3 men to get it on.) On the lead rope she is fine and after a bit of encouragement she will let you touch her. However, off the lead rope she is pretty much completely wild. You can't get more than 3 feet to her, she hates anyone being in a stable with her. I made quite a bit of progress with her over summer however I really don't have the time for her anymore and she is coming up 5 this year and I don't want time to run out for her simply because I don't have the time. She is the most challenging horse I've ever had and I've been around horses my whole life and worked with very difficult horses before. I'm not going to lie and try and dress it up.
