Nancy! 16.2hh 11 year old TB mare! in Newport

Fancy Nancy!! 16.2hh 11 year old thoroughbred mare. Unraced, clean limbs no lumps or bumps, vice and injury free. School mistress, genuine all rounder! Works in a perfect outline throughout 3 balanced paces and very straight moving. Has done a bit of everything, competed unaffiliated dressage show jumping and has been xc training. Has also done beach rides and fun rides remaining the safe and sensible mare that she is. Hacks alone and in company, first or last, has been ridden by a variety of different riders including novices however I wouldn't consider her a novice horse as is a push button ride and she enjoys her job. Has been faced with near enough all possibilities on the road, heavy arctic lorries, cyclist/groups of cyclists, tractors, all farm animals etc as we are based on a very busy rural road. She does not bat an eyelid, loves to please. Nancy is easy to handle, picks up all 4 feet, loads and travels, have not clipped her but this will be done next week if she is still with us. 15.1hh TB chestnut mare, just turned 9 years old in

I'm sadly selling my gorgeous mare through no fault of her own. She would suit a confident teen or small adult, great pony club pony. She's forward but safe and sensible. She's great in open spaces, did my first local jumping competition in a large field and she was fab, didn't put a hoof wrong. She is also great out doing a XC course. She has an amazing jump, we have jumped 2ft6 out competing and 4ft at home. Secret has done PC, local shows, XC. Secret always wants to please, she's such a sweet genuine mare. She's 110% out hacking, can't fault her in anyway, nothing fazes her at all, will go first or last but has to go first when out for a gallop. She's amazing to box, shoe, catch. Clipped her once and she was brilliant but won't let you near her head. Such a heart breaking decision but my beautiful Irish Thoroughbred is up for sale. I currently can now no longer ride as I am waiting for a back operation and will be unable to walk for months, so this is the best choice for my boy. Xander has come such a long way coming from a bad previous home. He has been ridden by a novice but I want him to go too a home with experience. He needs a lot more schooling and hacking out (walk trot) to build his muscle up as he was very under nourished. He is currently coming back into work being lunged and ridden slowly after having a rest. He is a very lazy ride but slight squeeze and he will listen, so no leg kickers!! I am only wanting him to go too a 10* home as he is a very loved boy, so experienced people only please. He needs to go to someone with a kind hand, I am very gentle with Xander and that's the sort of home I want him to go too. Very sad sale of my tb mare. I bought her as an easy ride five months ago but she has not settled with me. I would suggest an experienced tb owner who is willing to take her back to basics. She has lost muscle tone as she has been out of regular ridden work for about 12 weeks. I have had her back done, teeth done and saddle bought and fitted to her to try to eliminate any issues.
