Such a heart breaking decision but my beautiful Irish Thoroughbred is up for sale. I currently can now no longer ride as I am waiting for a back operation and will be unable to walk for months, so this is the best choice for my boy. Xander has come such a long way coming from a bad previous home. He has been ridden by a novice but I want him to go too a home with experience. He needs a lot more schooling and hacking out (walk trot) to build his muscle up as he was very under nourished. He is currently coming back into work being lunged and ridden slowly after having a rest. He is a very lazy ride but slight squeeze and he will listen, so no leg kickers!! I am only wanting him to go too a 10* home as he is a very loved boy, so experienced people only please. He needs to go to someone with a kind hand, I am very gentle with Xander and that's the sort of home I want him to go too. I am in no rush to sell him as I only want serious and honest people for my boy! Penny is an 8 year old TB mare. My daughter bought her in February this year after falling in love with her at first sight. The lady who we bought her from knew nothing about her past (strange) & said that she had done nothing with her? We have since found out that she spent 2 months in a race yard but she wasn't fast enough. She is a sweetheart - loving & kind. Can be mare-ish but hasn't a nasty bone in her body. She has become very attached to our other 2 ponies (2 old mares 20+ years each!!). She had a nasty accident 2 weeks after she came to us, involving barbed wire. 8 weeks of box rest & some scars on her back legs but no lasting damage and sound. Recently some con artist tried to buy her - lied about what they wanted to do with her, came to collect her, didn't tie her up on the lorry & she subsequently panicked & got herself stuck underneath the divider. Some scratches & lost hair, but no lasting damage. She is golden with the farrier, dentist & chiropractor. Brilliant in traffic. A friend of ours has cantered her around open fields & she was lovely.
