At Krome Music Studios we offer piano lessons that are taught in our dedicated studio by Antony, who is our company's pianist and session player. These lessons are idealy aimed at the beginner and novice level students and are suited for all ages. There are many reason for learning the piano, from just being able to play for fun, learning your favourite songs or to broaden your musical talents. All lesson will include the fundamentals of basic piano playing, e.g, correct body and hand postures, chord progessions, music notation and much more. The duration of lessons are: 30 minutes 45 minutes 1 hour This is to facilitate the different requirements for our students. We offer a free half hour introductory lesson, which is used for Antony and the students to get to know each other and to assess their current playing ability which will help choose a suitable learning programme.

My beloved upright piano has to move on to a new home as I've finally bought myself a 'better than beginner' one. Its dimensions are 140cm long, 133cm high and 54cm deep. It is 7 octaves and all the keys work. The soft pedal however doesn't for all the keys - there is a sheet of felt that it is supposed to move up to soften and it now doesn't, I don't know if this could be fixed or not. I love the feel of the keys and have played it since childhood and they are a great stiffness for those with weak fingers like me! It is collection only and quite heavy so will need 2 people to move.
