decent condition - the wood is quite scuffed in places, but the mechanism, 2 pedals, all keys, etc. are in good condition with no signs of damage. The music book holder folds and fits inside the piano. Piano stall included. (no key for the lock.) I bought this piano from a friend's mum-in-law who original bought it from the manufacturer in London. The piano suits beginner. My 2 sons practiced with it, and one got up to grade 4 and another grade 2, achieved distinction. I'm planning to upgrade to a newer piano for them. I last tuned the piano about 1.5 years ago. Upright Piano- Perfect for beginner

My beloved upright piano has to move on to a new home as I've finally bought myself a 'better than beginner' one. Its dimensions are 140cm long, 133cm high and 54cm deep. It is 7 octaves and all the keys work. The soft pedal however doesn't for all the keys - there is a sheet of felt that it is supposed to move up to soften and it now doesn't, I don't know if this could be fixed or not. I love the feel of the keys and have played it since childhood and they are a great stiffness for those with weak fingers like me! It is collection only and quite heavy so will need 2 people to move. Boyd London Upright Piano and adjustable black piano stool going free. It's a good and solid upright piano that has been taken care of and loved for 3 years. It's no Steinway but has great character and has a decent tone once tuned. It has been tuned regularly and has had an overhaul (including some new felts replaced). It is in good working order and great fun to play. It would make a great piano for a family, a beginner or a good all rounder for a church hall, pub or school. I can get it out my front door but cannot transport it any further than the pavement outside my house. It has a cast iron frame and is very very heavy: will need at least 2 or 3 sturdy people to move it. Piano removals recommended!
