Origin: Italy.Dimensions: cm 18 (H) x 25 x 12 depth.Weight: 972 grams.Material: lacquered carved wood with gouache gilding in pure gold.Damage: some minor losses to lacquering.Restoration: none.Alterations: none.The object is in excellent condition, in consideration of age, and given the fact that it undergone no restorations. Gilt lacquered clock

I have for sale a grandfather clock which I understand is about 150 years old if not more. It has a gilt lacquered finish which needs some restoration but the silvered face has recently been re-done, I think in and serviced about the same time by Mr Ellis of Lincoln.. and was in working order then. 19th c. Eastern wooden carved capital base candle holder

An Eastern, quite possibly Indian, wooden carved 19th century column capital converted into a large candlestick holder featuring a beaded border and faded green-painted finish. This eye-grabbing and hefty piece, measuring approximately 16" across, demands attention in the room with the massive 17.5" candle in place (candle included!). It shows some signs of age and wear (see photos) but is entirely sound and thoroughly lovely. £85 or nearest offer.
