Comitti of London Mahogany 8 Day Westminster Chime Wall Regulator Clock. Solid mahogany 8 day Comitti Westminster chime wall regulator clock. The case is all English Made from solid Mahogany and beautifully hand polished. The carved top piece is finished with a central brass finial. The high quality Westminster chime movement plays the Westminster chime very quarter (building up the amount it plays each quarter) and then strikes the corresponding number on the hour. It uses a combination of 5 rods being struck by hammers to make the sound. Supplied with the original key. All in working order, collection only. Dimensions: 57cm(H) x 20cm(W) x 10cm(D) Company History. In Onorato Comitti, an Italian precision instrument maker, opened his workshop in Clerkenwell, London. Antique mantle clock in Oak case not working

Antique clock in oak casing. Really beautiful clock but sadly not working properly. It has its original key and you can wind the clock up and the hands move and but when it chimes it continually chimes and doesn't stop until you move the hands manually. It always worked previously and I'm sure it's a simple fix but I know nothing about clocks. Body and face in excellent condition looks amazing, very ornate.
