For sale is this lovely oak German triple chime mantle clock, it chimes the quarters slowly making up to the full hour which can be selected via a lever at the 3oclock position, or can be put on silent. Comes completely cleaned and serviced by myself (please see photographs). I am a member of the BHI and have been repairing clocks and watches for 15 years as a side job. The case is all English Made from solid Mahogany and beautifully hand polished. The carved top piece is finished with a central brass finial. The high quality Westminster chime movement plays the Westminster chime very quarter (building up the amount it plays each quarter) and then strikes the corresponding number on the hour. It uses a combination of 5 rods being struck by hammers to make the sound. Supplied with the original key. All in working order, collection only.
