Rodney for adoption

Rodney is a 2 year old half collie sausage half surprise. Even our vets are a little bit stumped about this handsome chaps genetic makeup.. he is the very best of a Heinz 57. He is very long with short little legs and is small to medium in size. Rodney loves people and is incredibly social; he particularly likes children and would love some little people to call his own. He was found as a stray by a school and spent a great portion of his time convincing children to feed him their lunches. ?? Chihuahua For Adoption

Presley is a 5 year old tri colored long haired chihuahua. He is very tiny and was rescued originally from an abusive home. Because of this he can be timid of strangers especially men and will bark if approached too quickly so needs calm introductions. Due to previous abuse and mishandling from children Presley cannot be homed with resident children under 12. I may consider homes with visiting children as long as I am satisfied suitable measures will be taken to keep everyone safe. He can or cannot live with other (calm) dogs. He's quite indifferent to them but previously lived with an elderly cairn terrier with no issues. Since coming into foster he's been a bit grumbly with dogs here but nothing major. He can get a bit possessive of his food and "stuff." This hasn't manifested in anything aggressive. Just noise and silliness. He's also been fine around our cats apart from when they come near his stuff when again we are met with noise and silliness. His new owners will need to be aware that this is a form of resource guarding and be able to deal with this effectively. He's absolutely adorable though and loves fuss and to be held in your arms. He's just had such an awful start in life so his negative behavior comes from fear. Presley needs someone who is around for most of the day or can take him with them to places. This is Luna, she is 4 years old nearly and comes from Cyprus where she has had a tough life so far. She was an unloved stray dog and found by the charity i foster for (pets2adopt Cyprus) in the public pound in terrible conditions. The moment I saw her photo I knew she had problems but I just had to foster her here in the UK and help her to find a better future. She is such a loving and affectionate dog and her trust for humans amazes me after the life she has had so far! Luna is blind in one eye and also has a condition called leishmaniasis, this is a condition caused by a sand fly bite but is not contagious to dogs here in the U.K. As we do not have those flies. Horse for adoption

Swiftwood Sanctuary is looking for an adoptive home for Phantom. He is approximately 16.3hh/17hh and 20 years old. We took him in last year after his hunting days became too much for him. We have since had him diagnosed by the vet as having mild shivers. The vet has said there is no reason why he can't enjoy short hacks and will in fact do him good. So we are tentatively putting this advert out to see if there is anyone around suitable. He can live out as long as he is rugged and he has a good purpose built dry shelter but I'm sure he wouldn't say no to a stable over night either. He has been a wonderful horse in his time by all accounts. But we feel here at the sanctuary he is quite bored and has some life left in him yet if there is anyone out there looking for a quiet hack around the block and a lovely friend Phantom is your man. He has absolutely perfect manners and we tried him out on a hack and he was an absolute Angel. Perfect in traffic. Do bear in mind this is an ex hunter and not a riding school plod.
