CURRENTLY IN FOSTER IN NORTHAMPTONSHIRE MEET SIENNA 8 Years Old Small Sized This beautiful old girl is Sienna, she is currently in foster with one of our amazing foster family in the UK. Sienna is very wary of people and timid and needs a home with lots of patience and time, Sienna is completely deaf, and she is incredibly emaciated. Sienna loves her food and is a very sweet girly, she is doing amazing with her house training so far and she loves the other dogs, she follows the other dogs everywhere and is learning to play with them! She even okay with her foster family’s guinea pigs, she been left alone a few times and is fine. For a dog of her age and condition she’s quite agile and has been in a couple of walks of over 3 miles and kept up with the other dogs and seemed to thoroughly enjoy them. Swiftwood Sanctuary is looking for an adoptive home for Phantom. He is approximately 16.3hh and 20 years old. We took him in last year after his hunting days became too much for him. We have since had him diagnosed by the vet as having mild shivers. The vet has said there is no reason why he can't enjoy short hacks and will in fact do him good. So we are tentatively putting this advert out to see if there is anyone around suitable. He can live out as long as he is rugged but I'm sure he wouldn't say no to a stable over night either. He has been a wonderful horse in his time by all accounts and has taken many novice riders to the next level. But we feel here at the sanctuary he is quite bored and has some life left in him yet if there is anyone out there looking for a quiet hack around the block and a lovely friend Phantom is your man.
