Winnie is a fantastic natured, little pup, around 7 months old. She is collie x spaniel type. She is really gentle and has proved perfect with children and other dogs. Her nature is really outstanding. Winnie had a home but her owner lives in a flat and feels it is unfair on Winnie not to have a garden for her to go out in. Managing her in a flat has proved too much with 4 children too, so she has given her up to our rescue for her to be re-homed. Great Massingham Great Kitty Rescue, are a small group of people who have been working to eradicate the feral cat problem by neutering and / or rehabilitating the feral cats in the area. We currently have three cats who will be needing homes: Daisy Short furred black young adult (less than a year) Daisy is incredibly friendly. She loves a good fuss, even in preference to her dinner. I believe she will be a lap cat, given the choice. Billy Short furred black older kitten Billy is a really friendly little boy. He wants to play all the time, and will definitely benefit from being around other cats, preferably of a similar age to himself. Basil Short furred black older kitten Basil is a shyer boy. He will only accept a little touching from humans. So, at the moment he would make a good farm / outdoor cat, so long as he has protection from the weather. I am hoping that with a bit more patience though, he too will become a love bug. This is Luna, she is 4 years old nearly and comes from Cyprus where she has had a tough life so far. She was an unloved stray dog and found by the charity i foster for (pets2adopt Cyprus) in the public pound in terrible conditions. The moment I saw her photo I knew she had problems but I just had to foster her here in the UK and help her to find a better future. She is such a loving and affectionate dog and her trust for humans amazes me after the life she has had so far! Luna is blind in one eye and also has a condition called leishmaniasis, this is a condition caused by a sand fly bite but is not contagious to dogs here in the U.K. As we do not have those flies. She is on one tablet a day and can lead a perfectly normal life. The tablets are not expensive (around £3 a month). This sweet girl deserves a future and a family. Home check and adoption fee apply.
