Cosmetically showing it's age (see photo's) with replacement stock bolt cover and trigger guard stock screw that could do with further attention at some point. However, sound and accurate shooting condition with good spring, good seal, piston and tap. Any test and try before you buy at your location if local enough or at local shooting club.

BSA L prefix Light Pattern in Hitchin

BSA L prefix Light Pattern.'s in good mechanical order, accurate with good power. This has the spur trigger guard with a screw hole into the stock. The screw hole in the stock has been filled but filling is soft and screw does not bite. The stock bolt is a strong and secure fit so issue with trigger guard spur screw is not a shooting problem. The stock has worn varnished finish and replacement stock bolt cover. The metalwork is worn, but the tap has a sound seal and barrel is true. So one for renovation or shim the loose rear sight and use as an everyday shooter for many more years. Would seem a shame to just use for spares. Face to face preferred for testing. Will post at buyers risk via Parcelforce Express 48 Tracked and Signed For (max £25) in either a cardboard box with stock and trigger housing unscrewed with plenty of bubble wrap or stock on, in a foam lined hard case, £25 for hard case. Parts are worth more than asking price, so no offers please.

Triple, antiqued effect gold/brass finish. Circular ceiling plate and chain suspending central column with three graceful curved arms holding the shades and seeded (air bubble) glass globes. The fitting is designed to take 40 or 60 watt standard bayonet bulbs and can be used with a dimmer switch. Can also be used with appropriate low energy bulbs.
