BSA L prefix Light Pattern.'s in good mechanical order, accurate with good power. This has the spur trigger guard with a screw hole into the stock. The screw hole in the stock has been filled but filling is soft and screw does not bite. The stock bolt is a strong and secure fit so issue with trigger guard spur screw is not a shooting problem. The stock has worn varnished finish and replacement stock bolt cover. The metalwork is worn, but the tap has a sound seal and barrel is true. So one for renovation or shim the loose rear sight and use as an everyday shooter for many more years. Would seem a shame to just use for spares. Face to face preferred for testing. Will post at buyers risk via Parcelforce Express 48 Tracked and Signed For (max £25) in either a cardboard box with stock and trigger housing unscrewed with plenty of bubble wrap or stock on, in a foam lined hard case, £25 for hard case. Antique 11mm Pin Fire Revolver - FREE P & P. in Hitchin

A Rare Large closed frame Belgium Antique 11mm Pin Fire Revolver with foliate engraving by known gunsmith Marriette. As an Antique no firearms licence (FAC) is required under section 58 (2). Featuring a 5 1/2 Round Barrel, with unusual 5 rifling groves, stamped MEROLLA NAPOLI to the top. Forward of the cylinder is stamped MARIETTE BREVETE on two lines and the Crown and letter V. To the face of the cylinder is a letter stamp M and to the rear a number 6. The barrel and forward frame part is also stamped with the number 6. Which indicates to me that that these are factory numbers to match parts or it's serial number 6. I believe these where military issue, especially with the lanyard ring, but the loading system in which the whole front frame and barrel has to be removed to load didn't catch on. Its working in Single and Double action and everything is tight and crisp including indexing. On lock up a firm hand can move the cylinder side to side by just 1mm, but no forward to rear movement. The Ebony grips foliate engraving is rubbed, but have no cracks or chips. Delivery via Express 48 Payment via Paypal.
