Comitti of London Mahogany 8 Day Westminster Chime Wall Regulator Clock. Solid mahogany 8 day Comitti Westminster chime wall regulator clock. The case is all English Made from solid Mahogany and beautifully hand polished. The carved top piece is finished with a central brass finial. The high quality Westminster chime movement plays the Westminster chime very quarter (building up the amount it plays each quarter) and then strikes the corresponding number on the hour. It uses a combination of 5 rods being struck by hammers to make the sound. Supplied with the original key. All in working order, collection only. Dimensions: 57cm(H) x 20cm(W) x 10cm(D) Company History. In Onorato Comitti, an Italian precision instrument maker, opened his workshop in Clerkenwell, London. In a very short time he gained a reputation for superb workmanship and in the company was acknowledged with a Diploma of Honour as one of the finest barometer and clockmakers in England. Comitti remains a family-run business which continues to maintain the company's international reputation for luxury English timepieces in traditional and contemporary finishes.

Pretty Vintage Miniature Striking 8 Day Bracket Clock Hermle

This is a very pretty vintage miniature antique style bracket clock. The clock was made in England and uses an 8 day floating balance movement by Hermle. It strikes the hours and the half hours on a nice sounding bell. The case has general wear and tear due to age and use. The only real fault is a slight ding to the back corner of the top. This doesn't really notice when the clocks in situ. Other than that its in pretty clean condition for its age. The clock stands 8ins high(excluding handle) 5.75ins wide and 4ins deep.
