I am looking for a sharer/ rider for my lovely 14hh cob mare, Sioned. Sioned is a safe and sensible mare in her late teens. However, she loves going on hacks over the Chase and is a willing and forward going ride. I hope to find someone who would like to bring Sioned on hacks over Cannock Chase with myself and my other pony, once or twice a week. We are lucky enough to have access to the Chase straight from the field. There will also be opportunity to join us on fun rides, picnic and pub rides, etc, as I have my own horse box. All I ask in return is help with the poo picking and other paddock chores. Sioned is a great confidence giver, but you will need to be confidant in walk, trot and canter out on a hack, riding over varying terrain. Unfortunately I have my old boy for rehoming. Please don’t let his age put you off he’s in good health. He’s 25. He’s up to date with vaccinations teeth feet. Recently had a check up from the vet and back check. I retired him 2 months ago as I bought a younger horse. He’s been turned out on grass livery. But he looks really fed up he misses doing a job. He’s brilliant with kids novices can ride him. He does not hack alone he just plants his feet. He’s a happy hacker doesn’t like the school but will go in on lead rein. Doesn’t bite buck rear kick etc. Great in traffic. Doesn’t like bycicles snorts at them. He would suit a home as a light hack/companion he has mild arthritis but can still be ridden vet has given the all clear. He is a really lovely boy he can have his stubborn moments but he is great to handle and isn’t a bad bone in his body.before he retired he worked in the riding school doing the kids parties and hacks. hope he can find a lovely home where he will be loved as much as I love him. A gorgeous hh, 9 year old, tricoloured mare. Been used in the heaviest of traffic and isn't fazed by much. Picks up all 4 feet, not strong out in open fields. Would love to keep her but I'm looking for something to do more than just hacking on. She hacks out alone or in company, front or last. Passported and microchipped. I have for sale this 17 year old handsome cob. He is a chunky boy and therefore a good weight carrier. His positives are, he is completely bombproof in the heaviest of traffic, he is easy to clip, will happily live out, doesn't need hard food as gets fat on a blade of grass, his shoes last twice the time of my other horse, great easy ride for a novice, stands still to get on and off, never gets fizzy. He has no bells and whistles. His circles are squares and he doesn't know what an outline is so certainly not a show cob. The bad bit is that he suffers from separation anxiety. I have two horses and my daughter competes the other one. On these occasions we are really concerned for him. He won't stay in the field alone and gets really stressed left in.
