If you're looking for a loving and gorgeous pony to have fun with, Linnie Lou is your girl! Fit, happy and honest Mare. My little Pocket Rocket. Age is but a number when it comes to Lin. Can live in or out however would need open stable if in with a view of other horses as only been stabled the last year. Recently come back into Pole Work, Hasn't been jumped in a while, but has competed to 3ft 3 in SJ. Jumped recently on Lunge with flying colours. Loves XCountry- I expect would just needs rider to develop her confidence a little as hasn't done in the last 2 yrs. Not a novice ride as can be a little sharp during the spring and can sometimes take 10 minutes to settle before she gets a focus to work. Don't we all eh! Linnie is so eager to work and have fun, she can have a very slight tendency to have 1 or 2 little exciteable buck on the very rare occasion - I can assure you This is only during spring, and are excitement- 100% Not aggression! But this is why I would not advise for a first Pony- with frequent exercise and a field big enough to roam in with friends, this would not occur. Perfect on road, perfect to hack and loves a good gallop! Hooves trimmed every 6 weeks and perfect condition, good to load, dentist, groom, behaviour with all ages. Fearful of clippers, but ok with sedation. She has never had a bad experience, just sensitive to the sound. No health problems but is Allergic to Coconut Oil!! This was used for a week on dry skin after a clip, her skin reacted badly resulting in loss of hair. This has since grown back. Vet advised it is a very rare allergy. Tack and all season rugs included!! I have owned this Mare for 10 years, and is quite simply my best friend. This is a beyond heartbreak sale for me. This decision has taken me 3 years and the only reason for sale is she simply needs more than what I can give as my interests have altered. Since the loss of a friend in a horse accident while competing a few years ago, my confidence decreased which has left a knock on affect on her limiting her potential. Our chestnut pony, hugely outgrown, is ready for a new jockey to have fun with. Bought initially for our novice sons, later forming a wonderful partnership with our older son. Hector is an honest safe pony, a good allrounder. Attended lots of pony club rallies, incorporating flatwork, SJ and XC, enjoyed fun and beach rides and was ace at PC camp. My son has competed in team and individual showjumping, along with a few ODE’S, often placed in the top 6. Hector has a large stride, ideal for XC and hunting - his favourite disciplines. Currently jumping 80cm and has done 90cm when my son was smaller! He can do a decent dressage test but this not something we've focused on. Good out hacking, always been in company (usually someone on foot) purely due to where we live. Excellent with big traffic, cyclists and motorbikes - can spook at a leaf/bird but this isn't often. CHAPS registered 7 yr old this year skewbald gelding cob x (am sure trotter) kind genuine lad who loves to be groomed and loved easy to catch load handle bath farrier, now unshod has had front shoes on previous home but found he didn't need them, hacks perfectly with my 10 yr old petite daughter who can be very nervous rider and she canters him in open spaces and he has never ever bolted, bucked or reared and never ever tempted hacks alone with my 14yr old and not fazed by traffic or silly in open spaces, his still green schooling in his canter work which we working on daily & is coming along leaps and bounds and now established a beautiful trot he only seems to pace like a trotter when his worried or confused thats all he ever does there's no malice in him at all has been ridden and hacked by a total beginner and never put a hoof wrong, taken him to local sj and always tries his heart out !, my eldest daughter took him bs on a ticket and only had 4faults due to unbalanced canter in the 70 open, jumps anything u put him at very brave & always giving it a try ! Blackwoodland Jive- Registered Irish Grade 1 Connemara gelding by I Love You Melody out of Blackwoodland Joy. No vices. Very typey- judges love him. Jive has striking looks and wonderful movement. He came here from Ireland and lived in his previous home for 5 years. He has proved to be a cracking competition pony with great results and rosettes every time out. He has won and been placed in dressage, ODE, arena eventing, M & M showing and WP, performance pony, SJ, Show x, HT and CT. Jive is particularly good at dressage and working towards medium. He never comes home without a ribbon. Jive hunts beautifully and has hacked out with three generations in his previous family and ours around a busy village and fields both alone and in company.
