Danny is a sweet natured horse looking for a new home. He has competed in all disciplines and shown successfully at county level. Jumped courses of 95cm with me and cross country schooled over 100cm+ fences, very honest and scopey jump. He has jumped everything I have put him in front of, helped me out, finds his own stride and always tries his best to please. Would excel in working hunter or eventing with progression, also works in an outline but again needs work with consistency. Danny is a very sensitive horse and can be sharp at times, because of this he does need a confident, knowledgeable and light rider. He is 100% on the ground and will stand all day to be brushed and pampered. Good to box, shoe, catch, clip. Previous owners boxed and clipped her regularly for hunting, but I haven`t boxed or clipped her. She has never bitten, kicked, reared, happily let dogs run around her. Out hacking passed pretty much everything, noisy lawn mowers, cement mixers, scrambling bikes, chain saws up the forestry. She is not fussed on builders sand bags, will give them a wide berth. She is very alert and nosey. She is not a kick along horse, but safe and not sillly. She does need a confident rider to push her forward sometimes when she is unsure of something, but will pass, again not stupid or silly. She will if you let her try it on with you, so you need to be firm with her, until she knows you won`t be messed about. At first she is a little head shy but no problems when head collar or bridle on. She can sometimes spook, her reaction is planting her feet, again nothing stupid or silly. I have been very honest in describing her, but I can only tell you how I find her. I just haven't had the time to work with my girl, lack of mt time for her forces sale.
