I am currently standing at 14.1hh, when my mum brought me she was told I would make 15.2hh, but because I was malnurished in the womb I might not grow to my estimated height. I am good with the farrier, vet. I am good to catch and lead, good to load, I love to be groomed and have a big fuss, I wear rugs to go out in the fields, I live in and out. In the stable I have 1 big hay net and a hard feed. I am use to tractors, machinery, cows etc. This is a sad sale as my mum is having personal circumstances. Head turner wherever she goes. 100% in any traffic even heavy farm machinery. Not fazed by traffic calming measures on the road, we have 60mph roads on our regular hack, stands for you to open gates, mounted or unmounted. She happily stands for me to clank my little step ladder next to her to be mounted. She will not take off in open spaces, happily let other horses pass her, does not try to be with them. Good to box, shoe, catch, clip. Previous owners boxed and clipped her regularly for hunting, but I haven`t boxed or clipped her. She has never bitten, kicked, reared, happily let dogs run around her. Out hacking passed pretty much everything, noisy lawn mowers, cement mixers, scrambling bikes, chain saws up the forestry. She is not fussed on builders sand bags, will give them a wide berth. She is very alert and nosey. She is not a kick along horse, but safe and not sillly. She does need a confident rider to push her forward sometimes when she is unsure of something, but will pass, again not stupid or silly. She will if you let her try it on with you, so you need to be firm with her, until she knows you won`t be messed about. At first she is a little head shy but no problems when head collar or bridle on. She can sometimes spook, her reaction is planting her feet, again nothing stupid or silly. I have been very honest in describing her, but I can only tell you how I find her. I just haven't had the time to work with my girl, lack of mt time for her forces sale. And jumps anything you put infront of him. approx 16hh liver chestnut(no white markings) sports horse mare 5 years old. Was bought in an absolute unhandled, emaciated state. Now up to weight, wormed seen farrier and needs to go on and do a job. She has been handled, lunged, longreined, wears saddle and bridle, walked out in traffic, loose schooled and jumped, and been leant over. she is good to catch, groom, handle but can be sharp(it tends to be windy weather that sets her off) in general can be led groomed and handled by a 12 year old girl. Needs more work picking up her feet and her education continuing. She is now stood going to waste as I have no time due to previous and new commitments.Hasn't done anything for a few weeks but I will bring her back in to work now she's advertised. This mare has good conformation and movement to die for. Would make a nice show horse but with the little talent we've seen has shown potential as an event type. Must be experienced home as I said she was previously unhandled and can be sharp.
