Hi, I have a bay 8yr old 17hh Irish hunter type gelding for sale. Bought over from Ireland. He does have a few issues but is a genuin chap, lovely Temperament lives in or out needs a confident rider who will ride him on as he has the tendency to bronk, and I don't have the time to ride him on due to stud tendencies, he is a project and needs work but will be a fab horse in the future. I have walked/trotted/cantered and jumped him, he can be a bit sensitive with handling but I just tend to ignore it and carry on with doing whatever it is I'm doing with him, he came over from Ireland by a transporter and as far as I'm aware he was good to travel but I've never travelled him myself. It is with great regret that I find myself having to rehome my lovely chestnut gelding.He has previously evented and done dressage including teams etc. We have just found an old injury which prevents him from ever jumping again, although he is fine to hack and do low level dressage and schoolong. Hi merlin is 6yrs old and fully registered Connemara he has hacked on busy roads and country lanes on his own and in company and not put a foot wrong he's good to shoe, clip, bath, plait, load and travel he's a snaffle mouth and a real one for the family pony my 5yr old nephew has ridden him. He's done some jumping over coloured and natural fences and was showing very brave and bold he's done a hunter trail and gave it 100%. He was bought with the intention of doing workers but my niece has decided to give up and we have just lost our livery so he's been turned away and brought back into work 3 weeks ago and has been as good as gold. A good home is more important as he's such a gentle friendly pony definitely one for the family.
