Sadly he is not 100% sound on a circle and despite extensive investigations with a Newmarket Vet practice we have been unable to establish the cause and hence cure. He enjoys hacking and shows no sign of pain in this environment having completed the Burghley long distance ride recently with no ill effects afterwards. He has hunted once with the Easton Harriers and was impeccably behaved despite it being his first time out. He is a lovely hack and my 13 year old daughter hacks him out alone and in company. Freddie is a joy to hack out he can go alone or in company when in company he does prefer to behind. You can take him over or underneath motorways, if other horses bolt he will not follow. He is a safe hacker will look at some things but someone confident will keep him moving!
