With a heavy heart i have to advertise my big girl she is a loverly natured lady i bought with foal at foot june with every hope to show and compete her in but since her foals weaning iv had her home and had the vet out she has a splint on her hind right on the lateral hence why she is advertised for light work the vet said she will be able to pop small course when fit but with her being a brood mare before i bought her she has no top line and poor conformation i am having physio out to her to help loosen her up etc and lunging with pessoa to build her muscles I have hacked her out can get a little worried on her own but when she is used to her surroundings shes brill a kind word and patience go far with her. Fancy Nancy!! 16.2hh 11 year old thoroughbred mare. Unraced, clean limbs no lumps or bumps, vice and injury free. School mistress, genuine all rounder! Works in a perfect outline throughout 3 balanced paces and very straight moving. Has done a bit of everything, competed unaffiliated dressage show jumping and has been xc training. Has also done beach rides and fun rides remaining the safe and sensible mare that she is. Hacks alone and in company, first or last, has been ridden by a variety of different riders including novices however I wouldn't consider her a novice horse as is a push button ride and she enjoys her job. Very sad sale of the most level headed TB I have ever ridden. She has been used in a hunter hireling yard by people of all standards before I bought her. Since I've had her I've won combined training and dressage, she gained 79% in her last outing gaining 4 x 8.5s. She is so polite to ride and so safe hacking - always in a snaffle. This lovely mare will excellent pure dressage as has lovely natural paces. Sadly she is just too big for me and I want to event, I find her too big when jumping. She is good to catch, box, clip. Shoe etc.... But can't be a but rude on the ground... Nothing nasty just sometimes walked into you? I have decided to offer my mare for sale. She has been loaned for the last 18 months but the loaner cannot keep her on. I do not have the time for her as I have a poorly horse that currently needs a lot of rehabilitation work. She is an honest mare with a very kind nature. She has previously been used in a riding school but personally I would not class her as a novice ride as she prefers a quiet sensitive rider. She has hacked in the past, but for the last 18 months has just been riding in the sand school. Her schooling is coming along nicely but canter transitions require more work. Super hard decision for the sale of a much loved mare. Tempest is a 6year old ex hurdler with heaps of potential in the eventing circuit. Standing at a full-up 16.1h, chunky type she would make perfect male or female ride. Tempy is snaffle mouth all the time, soft and responsive. She has 3 lovely floaty paces and currently working in an outline but still needs more work. I have schooled her over a 1m course and still has bags of room to spare, careful bold jump, doesn't stop, look or refuse. I see no issue as to why she wouldn't be able to compete round a BE100, hunt or make a team chaser. She has a lovely willing attitude to everything you ask her to do. Hacks out alone and in company, bold and brave. Will canter steady in open spaces, doesn't get silly. Tempest is a lovely mare but can pull faces, she won't follow through with anything, never bitten or kicked. Just a typical mare. Tempest is sound with no health issues.
