16.2 perfect happy hacker for LWVTB

As I've found a new love of schooling I have decided very sadly to sell my big mare. She's a 16.2 stocky strong mare. Hacks alone and in company. 100% in any traffic, even on tight lanes. She may spook at a pile of bin bags or a new road sign tho lol. She has been previously vetted and had a locking stifle which has never effected her and only noticed once with the farrier. She's only had 1 injury where the vets believed she was kicked in the neck in the field (over 2 years ago) and she was walking sideways. She had box rest for 3 months (full x rays which were all clear) they believed it was a trapped nerve. She's been a happy hacker with me as she's a standardbred and so isn't great at corners in the school. I've changed her to bitless and she's fantastic to ride! She will hack in open spaces calmly and pick up a gear if you want to have a good gallop. I'm not looking for her to go to a home where she will be schooled NO more than occasionally. Or any implements such as draw reins used! She's been trained to hold her head high to race and this is how she's comfy. She is a fantastic hacker and could do an endurance type thing too subject to building up her fitness:-) She's full of muscle and in great condition at the moment and will make someone a life long friend. Perfect for someone wanting a companion or lite hacker. Had problems with bone spavin last year, all been injected and fine to 'do everything again' quoting the vets but my decision is to allow him to chill out now and just hack. Best with none mixed feilds will go with mares if no other geldings around as he can fight but best either in a field on geldings or separate field. With a heavy heart I'm selling my mare, Rue. She's a really lovely girl. Really good to do anything with. Selling as a happy hacker as she was sold to me as having a "big knee" this does not affect her in anyway and is sound. I trot her around the roads and she's always been sound. She's good in traffic and my young son has ridden her on the roads. Rue really looked after him. She would suit anyone who just wants a horse to enjoy the world with. She is a forward going mare, but never done anything bad to anyone since I've had her. Rue is a 19 year old but you would never think it! !!! Chunky All Rounder/Happy hacker 15hh !!!

15hh (approx) 10yr old Bay Blagdon Mare. This lovely big, sweet natured mare has brilliant flashy, floaty paces... Perfect for the show ring. She is currently being ridden out on hacks on our busy roads and is not fazed by anything from road signs to lorries. She has a lovely forward walk and trot but is by no means a strong girl despite her size. She does canter, sometimes needing a kick when in the menage but can be forward when asked. She would benefit carrying on with schooling too. She is snaffle mouthed at all times. She has just been introduced to some jumping, it is all new to her but she is so genuine, she always has a go. Has also done a course of small jumps and took it all in her stride. I have found that she prefers to be with company on the stable yard although she will come in and tie up by herself, she just gets vocal and sometimes a little fidgety but getting more confident and quiet every day. She is not a fan of having her feet picked out, not at all nasty just really heavy footed. This genuine, honest mare has never bitten or kicked, is brilliant to tack up, groom, catch and can live in or out as a good hardy do-er type. Ideally looking for a competent, knowledgeable home. hi I am looking for a mare or gelding 15hh+, 5 years + I don't mind an older horse as long as he/she is sound, any breed as long as he/she is a weight carrier, I haven't got a huge budget but I can offer a 5* home (that can be viewed) he /she must be good on the ground as well as other horses and farm animals /traffic as well as children, I would like to do some schooling and hacking and maybe some local shows.

Sadly for sale due to lack of time due to other horses. Simon is for sale to a 10* home! He's 12 yo and 16.2. He is an ex racer but been out of racing 5 years and you would never believe he's actually raced as he's that quiet. He's like a cob in a tb's body haha. He's for sale as a light hacking horse due to he got a injury on his back leg which ended his racing career which mean there always fluid in his back hock. He's better living out as when he's stables he gets stiff on it (walks it off after a few steps tho!) I currently stable him at night though. To ride he needs a lot of leg to keep him going, not your typical tb. He's not spooky when hacking and just likes daundering along on the end of the buckle. I am only selling as I do not have time for him as I have a youngsters and other horses meaning I don't really have the time to hack him out.
