Honest advert..... 13 years old, heavy weight cob mare, full up 15hh and nearly as wide. She is 100% to handle, easy catch, load, farrier, in and out of stable absolutely no vices. She was brought back into work in the summer after having a couple of foals, she was previously in a trekking centre. But I just haven't had time to continue working her and I am selling her from the field. I was hacking her out on her own and she is forward going. She is safe as doesn't rear, Buck, bolt but she does need a competent rider as she looks for confidence from the rider. In company she is fine but I am not selling her as a novice ride. Heartbreaking sale of a stunning 6year old gypsy cob mare. Dapple grey standing at roughly 14.3hh. She has lots of mane & tail, unfortuneately her feather has got bog burnt due to being turned out but this will soon grow back. Not a nasty bone in her body, but she does know her size. She is sold from the field & lack of time forces sale due to a new baby, this decision hasn't been made lightly but this mare will be something spectacular in the right hands, she has had a foal with previous owners & will be an amazing asset to anyone as a broodmare. She has been used for driving but not been in work for quite sometime due to pregnancy etc. I was planning on using this great mare for not just driving but for riding & also showing. It's with great regret that I am now giving up horses as I just don't have the time to give them what they need & it's so disappointing to see them as field ornaments. She needs a confident experienced owner to bring out the best in her, she isn't for a novice. She has recently had her teeth done, wormed etc. I wouldn't say she loves her baths, she will dance around at first but soon settles down, never silly or dangerous. Daisy. 8 year old. Passported, vaccinated, wormed. Daisy was driven on all types of roads she then was a broodmare for 2 years. She has now been backed to riding and proving to be a very sweet willing mare. She is forward going, sometimes strong but only ridden in a snaffle. Has been walked around bitless. Daisy is just learning the ropes and trust. She is very genuine. She is fine to load, stable and catch. Can stay barefoot and sound and live in a mixed herd. She will make a wonderful riding horse once finished. All 3 of my horses are currently up for sale. Whichever one is left will be kept to produce further over winter. The only fault I'd say daisy has is she snatches her hooves back when picking them out. This can only improve with time. Daisy will easily carry 14 stone. Suit an experienced rider who wants to ride long hours and cover some ground! Daisy doesn't yet have much style jumping on the lunge but she will jump any filler.
