I’m looking for a specific type of horse to buy, I am a massive lover of Duns and Buckskins but specifically the heavier/Cobish types are my favourite and was wondering if anyone could assist in someway whether you know someone who is selling one or are selling one yourself. Is there any chance that anyone could help me find me a Dun/Buckskin, preferably 16hh+, Irish Draught, Cob/ish heavy type horse, that would be most appreciated, As I am currently looking to purchase a horse of that type and colour. I'm wanting a colt or gelding as young as possible, must be dun and to make around 15h or more (dependent on build, ideally medium). I have had youngsters before, backed them etc, my mare of 10 years is getting older now and I don't want to be without anything to ride. Lovely 14.2 approx, 7 year old chocolate dun gelding for sale, wally is a fantastic family cob. Fun and very easy to do in all ways, 100% on the ground hacks alone or in company. Never nasty doesn't kick or bite no vices. Wally has been hunting with a confident novice rider and also experienced riders. He's currently used for mainly hacking due to unfortunate work commitments. Wally loads on a lorry or a trailer and is calm while in transit. He will follow you around the field like a baby and I leave him outside the field with no headcoller on while tacking up he just stands there grazing. Brilliant in traffic he will look at the scary stuff and maybe walk around it wide but will always go past.
