Stunning 16hh 9yr ISH gelding who is a striking bay and white coloured. Oakey is a flashy horse that turns heads wherever he goes, he has been over from Ireland for a number of years now and since then been used as a true all rounder doing some schooling, hacking, XC training, show jumping and dressage. He is always in the ribbons and usually winning his sections. Lovely genuine all rounder type. Done RC activities (and side saddle) with previous owner, with me he has been hacking and discovered a bit of dressage! He has been hacked mostly in company, just because that's the way it's worked out, he does hack alone but just not quite as confident, but nothing a bit of practise wouldn't solve. Not nappy, doesn't buck or rear. Very kind mannerly boy. Good in traffic, box, travel, shoe, not keen on being clipped (we sedated, but it was his first time!) not a bad bone in this boy's body, his only 'bad point' (because no-one is perfect) is he does lack a bit of confidence but he does trust his rider and if you say it's ok it's ok. 16.3hh 9 year old Gelding ISH - Fantastic All Rounder

Bertie is a genuine, sweet horse who always tries his best in everything he does. He lives to impress and always seeks approval and praise from his rider. We have been focusing on schooling and Bertie has came on leaps and bounds, which has been a result of regular lessons from Kelly Douglas. He has substantially improved and there is huge potential in him and with a little more work he will be fabulous to do dressage. Out hacking, Bertie does require a bit of persuasion and relies on the confidence to come from his rider. This is purely because there was an incident a few months back where he was chased by dogs and I fell off. However, he has since seen dogs and been around them but I have been trying to get him used to them again but I'm sure, with time, Bertie will feel confident hacking out alone again. Prior to this he hacked out with company no problem and will go first, last or middle. He really is no bother. Jumping is definitely the field that Bertie excels in. He LOVES jumping and I have established that this is where he is most confident and the activity that he enjoys the most. Bertie will jump anything you put in front of him (including arena fences) and I have never known him to refuse a jump. Loves cross-country even more and will happily go around a course on his own. He will go venturing in and out of the water, including jumping. He will literally jump anything. However, he does get quite excited when jumping/doing XC therefore needs a competent rider. In the right hands Bertie will go very far in the competition world and I would love for him to go to someone who wants to compete regularly as he loves getting out and about. He is NOT a first horse, due to his size and strength (during jumping), however he is always snaffle mouthed. He is fine to load and travel, you don’t even know he’s there and if necessary he will actually stand in the box all day. No problem for the dentist and to catch from the field. When getting shod, he can be a bit funny with his back legs, however lets me pick them out, so I'm not sure whether he has had a bad experience with the farrier previously. He can also be a bit nervous to clip around his neck, although is starting to get used to it but on his body he is fine. Stable manners are impeccable. This superb horse will not go to just anyone, homes will be vetted and I will ask for references. He is my pride and joy and I'm completely gutted to be selling him but due to uni/exams these next few years he would be wasted and he's way too good to be a field ornament. **All photos were taken today** Henry is a 9 year old Irish Sports Horse gelding, grandson of Cruising, standing 16hh. I've owner Henry for just over a year now, and I can honestly say I haven't had any bad experiences with him. When I bought Henry I was told that he had a very bad habit of rearing. Over the year that I've had him, he never reared with me. He reared 3 times during the year I've had him, but he never out anyone in danger. The first time was due to badly fitted tack, second was excitement on a hunt and the last time he reared was due to him lacking confidence while jumping. With his old owners he used to jump 1m30 easily, but when he arriver to us he was scared to walk over a pole on the ground and terrified of crops. We worked hard with Henry throughout this year, and now he's jumping 3 foot cross poles from trot, and is fine with crops. He proved to have the potential to go higher, but he would benefit from an experienced rider who's got the time to produce him. Henry hunted with his old owners, but he wasn't fit enough to hunt with me. For the past year we worked on putting more weight and muscle on him. Henry a very sensible horse to hack, but he is forward. He prefers to hack in company, and does try and nap on his own. Henry's now ready to move on and find his forever home. Henry would be an ideal horse for someone who wants an easy project to bring on his jumping potentials, of would excel in schooling, dressage, hunting and hacking. He's got a very soft mouth, so will need someone with soft hands. He's ridden in a happy mouth three ring gag, but gets upset if the rider pulls too much on his mouth. He is not a complete novice ride due to him being forward hacking, and lacking confidence jumping. He's easy to: -load on trailer or lorry -clip -pull mane -farrier -have teeth done -do flat work with -handle(been handled by a 3 year old) Henry's up to date with his teeth, back and shoes.
