Safe happy hacker

looking for that ultimate happy hacker to live on our small farm in the Cotswolds. Will be mainly used hacking alone in open fields, so nothing that bolts or becomes strong/silly. I don't want anything fancy, and doesn't need to be able to jump/dressage. No hidden faults or quirks as nervous rider. just looking for a genuine pony (impossible I know!) Beautiful safe happy hacker

Genuine reason for sale - and a very sad sale so please no time wasters, and only absolute genuine enquiries. 15hh chunky black mare with 2 white socks. Chunky weight carrier. As bomb proof as a horse will ever be. Happy to let you jump on in the field, hacks out alone or in company, stands patiently for mounting. Behind the leg, likes to plod along at her own pace, and very much a leg at each corner type. Very sure footed (we call her our little mountain goat!). Won't ever win any races for speed, but will definitely give her rider plenty of confidence. She is dominant with-in the herd but not bolshy on the ground with people. Found she is better living with mares, because she sometimes likes to bully laid back geldings. She has not got a nasty bone in her body, she just expects her field buddies to listen! Never kicked or bitten. Not spooky, 100% in traffic, never napped or done anything silly. She has lived on her own and would be fine with that once settled in her new home if she didn't have field buddies, as long as she got lots of attention and lots of yummy grass! Lives on fresh air! Never suffered with laminitis and never sick or sorry. She is a little gem of a horse, will try her little heart out for you, and it will break my heart to see her go. Saracen is a forward going, but responsive ride, who is good to do in all ways. He is snaffle mouthed at all times, but not suitable for a complete novice as can be forward going. He has done a bit of everything in the past with me, but now he’s older, would suit a predominantly hacking home. He loves hacking and is safe out, alone and in company, and isn’t fazed by anything. He is good on the road and in open fields, and has never reared, bucked or bolted. He is good for the dentist, farrier, vet and to clip. Saracen has a large character, but is always honest, and will look after the rider. He has some medical issues, hence his price, so would suit an easier life with a knowledgeable owner. I'm looking for a safe, genuine happy hacker to share 2-3 days during the week. I have slight disabilities so have to use a mounting block to mount and dismount. Sadly for sale due to lack of time due to other horses. Simon is for sale to a 10* home! He's 12 yo and 16.2. He is an ex racer but been out of racing 5 years and you would never believe he's actually raced as he's that quiet. He's like a cob in a tb's body haha. He's for sale as a light hacking horse due to he got a injury on his back leg which ended his racing career which mean there always fluid in his back hock. He's better living out as when he's stables he gets stiff on it (walks it off after a few steps tho!) I currently stable him at night though. To ride he needs a lot of leg to keep him going, not your typical tb. He's not spooky when hacking and just likes daundering along on the end of the buckle.
