Beautiful chestnut roan mare

Rapunzal is a year old,beautiful cob mare with lots of feather and forelock. She was mis-sold to us and we have spent alot of time building her confidence and weight up as she was terribly underweight when she arrived although we done this slowly it became apparent that she has laminitis, we have controlled this and she is now ok, but she has a diet of just hay, chaff and a laminitis friendly mix and she seems to better out grazing, so although her overall condition has massively improved I would say a little bit more weight gain wouldn't hurt. She as sold as a ride and drive, but due to the obvious we haven't done a lot with her, just confidence building, pampering she has had a saddle and bridle on. Unfortunately my family's circumstances has changed and we need to cut back. We feel she would be a great companion/project for somebody who has time to put into her. She has had her feet trimmed and is wormed, she was very touchy on her backs but again I feel this is definitely something that can be worked with. CHESTNUT ROAN WELSH GELDING

Beautiful registered Welsh Section C gelding standing at hh. 6y/o. Clean limbed. Easy to do in most ways, good to load, groom, bathe, stand tied up and good with the farrier, however if out in a big field full of lush grass he can be difficult to catch, but he will come in for a bucket of feed. He has recently been taken back to basics with schooling work, he has three lovely paces, but he is still quite green and does occasionally need reminding of the correct lead in canter on his right rein, but he is very willing and wants to please, he is anybodys ride, he will happily plod around with a complete novice but will also step it up for a more experienced rider. I have just introduced him to jumping, which he loves, and I feel this is where he will excel with the right rider. He is fantastic to hack out either alone or in company, he is good in all types of traffic and he is never silly, strong or spooky. He is very low maintenance and easy to keep. With a heavy heart, Rolo is for sale due to no rider and going to waste in the field, we have owned Rolo for 5 years and he has been an absolute gem, ridden by novices and very young riders, he is a typical cob, greedy, lives on fresh air, and a super plod... he is a fantastic hacking horse and will go for miles, he is as near to super safe as it gets, nothing fazes him at all... he doesn't like schooling and can be very stubborn but in the right hands he will do his job and has competed at local level show jumping.... he lives out all year round and will not be stabled, we have tried and he dislikes it to a point of jumping the door!!!
