13.3 hh Piebald Cob Mare 8 yrs Happy Hack in Romsey

This is Dolly. She's an 8 year old Piebald Cob Mare standing at 13.3hh. Dolly is a really sweet girl who is completely bombproof in the heaviest of traffic! We live on a very busy A road and she has seen arctic lorries, cranes, motorbikes, ambulance with lights and sirens, tractors and cars driving far too close. She has never so much as looked at anything just takes it all in her stride. She has also seen sheep and is very quiet around dogs. Dolly doesn't really enjoy doing work in the school although she will do it, just lacks a bit of enthusiasm. She much prefers hacking and would make a great happy hacker. She will go on her own or in company and doesnt mind going first or last. She is ridden in a snaffle at all times. She would live in it out, she's up to date with worming and farrier. Currently barefoot with very good feet. Dolly has never been vaccinated for flu and tet is so this would need doing. Dolly is a bit nervous around new people to start with. She is very easily won over with food though. She is a little bit sensitive about having her feet picked out but so long as you are confident and clear about what you want her to do she is fine. Rapunzal is a year old,beautiful cob mare with lots of feather and forelock. She was mis-sold to us and we have spent alot of time building her confidence and weight up as she was terribly underweight when she arrived although we done this slowly it became apparent that she has laminitis, we have controlled this and she is now ok, but she has a diet of just hay, chaff and a laminitis friendly mix and she seems to better out grazing, so although her overall condition has massively improved I would say a little bit more weight gain wouldn't hurt. She as sold as a ride and drive, but due to the obvious we haven't done a lot with her, just confidence building, pampering she has had a saddle and bridle on. Unfortunately my family's circumstances has changed and we need to cut back. We feel she would be a great companion/project for somebody who has time to put into her. She has had her feet trimmed and is wormed, she was very touchy on her backs but again I feel this is definitely something that can be worked with.
