Very sad sale of my 9 year old daughters 6 year old coloured mare. "Gypsy" This horse has masses of potential. She loves being a show off and works beautifully on the bridle. She is hot shod front and back. We have clipped her out numerous times without an ounce of bother. No need for sedation or twitching etc. She is great to hose and bath/plait. Not too fond of mane pulling so I cheat and use a solo comb! Gyp hacks out not a bit if bother and if unsure of anything will just stare at it rather than spinning /napping. She is on a busy working farm/ livery yard and is used to dogs and farm machinery. She has been schooled in the arena in the heaviest of storms and has behaved impeccably. Gyp is good to mount, lead, catch, box and travel. We have had her out regularly in a trailer and she knows once u drop the ramp that she is off for a little trip lol! Gyp is 3/4 trotter cross cob. She has amazing power and incredible trot work. She is still developing balance in her canter work but we have put tons of Lunge work work in to help with this. Gyp is currently ridden in a hanging cheek snaffle. She has jumped courses of 80cm clear and fast! I have to be completely honest and say that i want this little mare someone who will shower her with time and attention. They also need to show her who is boss from time to time. My 5 year old daughter can lead her round the yard no problem and she really loves the fuss! Gyp has been placed or won in every single dressage intro test we have been to. She has had amazing judges comments. She also won her first ever showing class on her first time out. Gyp has regular physio and thermal scans to keep her in good shape. Indie is a 10 year old, 14.2hh tobiano (coloured) mare. Trotter X Welsh CHAPS registered and same home for 7 years. I bought Indie as unbroken 3 year old, full history is known and she has been carefully brought on throughout her time with me. She has done pretty much everything with me including dressage, hunting, showing (workers), eventing, show jumping, cross country, Somerford Camps, and endurance rides. Indie also loves to hack out alone or in company, she is happy to take the lead or go behind. She is always snaffle mouthed. She is brilliant even in heavy traffic. Indie can turn her hoof to anything. She is able to produce a nice dressage test, she is careful when show-jumping and bold when going cross country. She doesn't get silly when around other horses and has good brakes. She is only for sale as it is way past time that I moved onto horses. Indie is fully up to date with her vaccinations, worming and teeth etc. She is great with the farrier and currently has a full set of shoes on as we have been hacking out a lot this summer. Depending on workload she is also happy with either just fronts or barefoot. She is great to load, bath, plait, catch etc. She will happily be turned out with mares, geldings or on her own.
