12hh Bay Welsh pony gelding

Bailey is a very confident and affectionate pony who is unfazed in traffic. He is good with the vet and farrier. He has never been difficult to load or handle. Previously when in work Bailey was handled by my three year old nephew. He has been used to lead both my daughter and nephew on the lead rein, however he has only been ridden several times on the lead rein with a child riding themselves. He has been introduced twice to work off the lead rein. He has very low mileage and will need bringing on. Bailey is a very honest and affectionate Welsh pony that I rescued 5 years ago. In that time he has become a very confident pony who enjoys being handled and ridden. He is good to lunge, handle, load, with farrier, with vet etc. He has predominately been used as a lead rein but has been introduced to work off the rein which he was quickly getting the hang of. He is 100% in traffic. Sadly, due to difficult family circumstances I don't have the time for Bailey or to bring him on. Carter is our much loved pony having been with us 3 years. So this is a sad sale. He is 6 yrs old and he has been showing regularly over the summer in M &M and cradle and nursery stakes, first ridden show hunter and show pony for 2 seasons winning and placed in many. He has been hunting for 2 seasons one on lead rein one off. Competed in Hunter trails, and pony racing. He regularly attends pony club and has show jumping working hunter and Flat work lessons, he has competed for his pony club at showjumping. He has been on badminton ride last Sep jumping round confidently. My 7 yr old son rides him at home on hacks and has had few lead rein lessons on him but is not that intrested for me to keep him for the odd ride. This is a versatile little pony and really easy to do good to shoe, clip, catch,load, travel. Would suit a confident little rider. He has hunted on and off the lead but he is quite forward off lead out hunting so would have to be confident little rider in company.

Sadly for sale as our young jockey has lost interest - 7 year old part bred Welsh mare - Cindy is looking for a new home for another child to love her, she is good in all aspects, up to date with vaccinations, teeth, worming etc., good with the farrier and loading/travelling. Fred is 13yrs old and is a 12.2hh Welsh b gelding. He is fantastic on the leadrein and has been used on pony days, pony rides at fetes and pony parties. He loves to be groomed and will stand there all day and doesn't fidget. Good to catch even in a big grassy field. Normally caught in by a 6yr old. Lives out 24/7 but happy to be stabled too.
