For sale Chuck 12.2 Gelding 17 years old. Very sensible, safe and kind pony who is sadly outgrown. Perfect first/second pony. We have had Chuck for 5 years. My daughter was 6 when we bought him and he has taken her from being on the lead rein to regularly out competing at 65cm in show jumping and cross country and often placed. We have also done some dressage with him over the last year. We have taken him to the junior riding club camp for the last 2 years and he loves the pony games etc. More of a kick along type of pony. He has had weekly lessons with the 3 Valleys Riding Club for the last 18 months. Excellent with the farrier and does not need shoes. Good to catch and clip. He will hack alone or in company and is bombproof in all traffic (we live on a farm). He will stand all day to be pampered. He currently lives out in the summer and comes in on a night in winter. I am looking for a good family home for Jack. He is a 15hh Black Gelding, healthy, strong boy being sold for no fault of his own and not because he has any vises. He was bought from a riding school for my granddaughter who has special needs but she no longer shows interest in him and he is just not getting used. Sadly due to a change of circumstances I need to rehome my boy. I just don't have the time he deserves. He is a great allrounder enjoys his work but is not suitable for a novice as he is a big strong boy and knows it. He can get excitable but is great in traffic, to shoe, clip, bath, box and travel easy to catch. He is a dominant horse so needs to be in a gelding only field or just with mares. He is also dominant in his stable needs a firm strong handler and rider. He isn't dangerous just big and strong. He does have a few sarcoids but they cause him no problems.
