I have owned my lovely highland pony for almost 8 years, he was a three year old when I got him. We have competed successfully at dressage and have done a few novice tests. I work full time and have another pony and sadly just don't have the time to do them both justice. I have therefore come to the very sad decision to try and find someone who wants a new bestfriend. He is easy to look after, barefoot and could live off air! He does sadly suffer sweetitich and does need to be kept rugged in summer. He has lost some forelock this summer but still has full mane and tail. He does like to spend some time inside in summer but probably would live out if the flies allow. He is easy to clip, load and generally a very friendly pony. He is not spooky and hacks alone and in company. Our adorable pony is well schooled, has great paces is easy to ride and is for sale due to being outgrown by my daughter. He has many years left in him and looks amazing. He really is up for anything, he is excellent in the heaviest of traffic including lorries, double deckers, combine harvesters, skip lorries etc. He hacks alone perfectly either by himself or with company, he competes regularly and does well in Working Hunter Classes, Showing, Xcountry, Showjumping, Dressage, Hunter trials, Long Distant rides, ODE and has been attending PC for the last three years including rallies and 4 day camp and area dressage. Currently jumping any height up to 2'6" maximum. Happy to go through water. Happy to be first or last. He will stand tied up to a trailor all day or can be happily left inside a trailor at shows. He always does well at shows and in the ribbons. Happy to be ridden bareback. He is excellent to catch, trim, pulling mane, bath, lunge, load, clip, worm, farrier and is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and back. He does not barge and is happy to be sprayed with flyspray etc. Lives in or out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Happy to be in a stable on straw or shavings. Happy to have dry or wet hay. He has front shoes on every 5-6 weeks to keep his toes short. Has not lost a shoe since we have owned him. Excellent with electric fencing. He does not particularly like his girth being done up but if you speak to him before you do it he is usually fine. He is very happy to adapt to the level of any rider. He has been part of our life for 3 years and the previous owner for 10years (we still keep in contact with them). Have loads of photos and videos. I am genuinely an honest person and keep in contact with our last pony that we sold three years ago and would like to do the same with whoever buys our lovely Brambles. He comes with a very good quality snaffle bridle, saddle, rugs etc. He has slight arthritis in his near fore foot but does not normally need any treatment and this does not affect him. Beautiful second competition pony who is sadly desperately outgrown and now looking for a new little person to form a loving and successful partnership with. He has the sweetest nature, is very affectionate and will happily trot across the field to greet you. Very easy to do, good to catch, clip, shoe, box. No trouble to have around, lives out but has been in at night over the wettest part of the winter. Will happily jump a course of cm and has jumped over 1.05m at home with us.
