A beautiful pony with a beautiful temperament to match Moves nicely Jumps Hacks alone and in company Doesn't need riding daily as doesn't hot up (even jumping) in fact I've left him as long as 3 weeks and hopped on and he's no different to if ridden regularly This pony has a brain and likes to use it. He'd suit a home with variety wanting to compete and have some fun. I imagine would be a nice asset to a competitive pony club home or a small adult as an allrounder. I've attended clinics away from home on him in indoor arenas. The most he's ever done when excited is begin passaging -which is a talent in itself as he's never been taught and is no way ready to learn these advanced movements but clearly it comes naturally to him!! He has a GOOD hind leg! Shown as a yearling at county level Never bucked or reared but can be sensitive so requires a quiet rider A straightforward gentleman to handle he lunges like a dream and is never bolshy or bargey. I will not be allowing novices to rattle around on his back! 14hh Highland Pony Gelding rising 11yrs

I have owned my lovely highland pony for almost 8 years, he was a three year old when I got him. We have competed successfully at dressage and have done a few novice tests. I work full time and have another pony and sadly just don't have the time to do them both justice. I have therefore come to the very sad decision to try and find someone who wants a new bestfriend. He is easy to look after, barefoot and could live off air! He does sadly suffer sweetitich and does need to be kept rugged in summer. He has lost some forelock this summer but still has full mane and tail. He does like to spend some time inside in summer but probably would live out if the flies allow. He is easy to clip, load and generally a very friendly pony. He is not spooky and hacks alone and in company. He is stabled on a busy farm and regulalry sees mountain bikes, dogs, tractors, motor bikes etc. He would come with his rugs and tack, made to measure AVA saddle, look at the video on the website - we are stars!! Our adorable pony is well schooled, has great paces is easy to ride and is for sale due to being outgrown by my daughter. He has many years left in him and looks amazing. He really is up for anything, he is excellent in the heaviest of traffic including lorries, double deckers, combine harvesters, skip lorries etc. He hacks alone perfectly either by himself or with company, he competes regularly and does well in Working Hunter Classes, Showing, Xcountry, Showjumping, Dressage, Hunter trials, Long Distant rides, ODE and has been attending PC for the last three years including rallies and 4 day camp and area dressage. Currently jumping any height up to 2'6" maximum. Happy to go through water. Happy to be first or last. He will stand tied up to a trailor all day or can be happily left inside a trailor at shows. He always does well at shows and in the ribbons. Happy to be ridden bareback. He is excellent to catch, trim, pulling mane, bath, lunge, load, clip, worm, farrier and is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and back. He does not barge and is happy to be sprayed with flyspray etc. Lives in or out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Happy to be in a stable on straw or shavings. Happy to have dry or wet hay. He has front shoes on every 5-6 weeks to keep his toes short. Has not lost a shoe since we have owned him. Excellent with electric fencing. He does not particularly like his girth being done up but if you speak to him before you do it he is usually fine. Brilliant with sheep chickens dogs etc. He is looking for a confident lightweight adult / child / teenager to enjoy his fun loving, cheeky character. I have also ridden him but I am too heavy. I am 5'6" and easily suits my height as he is a hunter type. His breeding is unknown. He can be a novice ride on the lead rein as my Daughter started off on the lead rein with him but would not suit a total novice off the read rein as he can be a bit cheeky and put in the odd titchy little buck which is easy to sit and not nasty in anyway (he would not do this with an adult or teenager). He is very happy to adapt to the level of any rider. He has been part of our life for 3 years and the previous owner for 10years (we still keep in contact with them). Have loads of photos and videos. I am genuinely an honest person and keep in contact with our last pony that we sold three years ago and would like to do the same with whoever buys our lovely Brambles. He comes with a very good quality snaffle bridle, saddle, rugs etc. He has slight arthritis in his near fore foot but does not normally need any treatment and this does not affect him. He would also be perfect for a mother / daughter share or an adult who wants to have fun hacking and having a go at anything as he can carry up to stone. Happy to answer any questions at all but hopefully I have detailed everything in this advert This is a very difficult decision for my 11 year old daughter. A five star loving home is far more important than price for handsome pony. We are based on the Essex / Suffolk border..
