An excellent 1st world war Zenith officers watch in very good condition for its age.This watch is approx , so 100 years old and in excellent working condition. It keeps good timebut it may need some fine adjustments: 3-4 min over 24hrs.White enamel dial with black numbers and blue cathedral hands in good condition. It has a microscopic hairline by number 2 to the centre.The movement as you see from the pictures is very clean. Clean clear lens. It looks like this watch is in original condition but I cannot guarantee. The strap also is very old. Strong hinges, nice big onion crown. The case is high grade silver 800 hallmarked and there are lots of service marks, numbers, and "Grand prix Paris " Please see pictures, they are high definition.Measures 33mm across without the crown. This watch belonged to my late father. Specifications: Genuine 18ct gold Zenith watch, serial number , manual mechanism. Excellent condition for its age, hands and charging mechanism work perfectly and it keeps perfect time. My dad used to take excellent care of his belongings, it seems that this watch was lighly used. The strap is made of genuine Made in Italy black leather with contrasting stitching. It only needs to be cleaned inside. A jewellery shop offered £700 for it, so don't bother me with pathetic offers. Good general condition, would benefit of a clean/polish.This is a Vintage watch and it has some little marks due to the age of the watch. The dial is very clean - the hands have some little marks on the edges that are barely visible. The crystal is clean, not sure if this has been replaced at some point. The crown is not signed. Ref on the back case: On the inside: Zenith Plaque or 80 microns and HF letters Bumper Zenith movement - keeps good time but when it " bumps" you can feel the rotor bump against the springs at the end of its travel - I am not an expert so I don't really know if is normal.
