Archie is a gentle giant looking for a forever home as a companion. Good with both mares and geldings, he currently comes in at night through the worst winter months and will live out all summer. He is good on the ground, for the vet, dentist etc and picks all his feet up to be picked out daily. He'll let you groom him for hours and will stand tied up on the yard with no trouble. We've had him for 3 years now and although he has been ridden, (no medical reason why he can't) he is a lot happier as a companion horse as he can be unpredictable under saddle. Approx 18 years according to a recent dental check. For sale through no fault of her own, I am moving to university therefore don't have the time for her. She is a brilliant mare who has given a lot in her past of showjumping. She still likes to pop a jump and loves her job. She would not suit a novice as she can occasionally (but rarely) nap at things she is unsure of or get excited. She would suit a young adult who wants a schoolmaster or confidence giver, as she has been there and done it all. She can be a little stiff as you first get on her but she soon loosens up after warm-up and has three lovely paces. She is good to box, shoe, catch. HEARTBREAKING SALE - HONEST ADVERT Grace is a year old AES registered Warmblood mare. She has absolutely fantastic pedigree - sired by WHATS COLOUR IMP with the legendary SAMBER as her grandsire. I bought Grace at the start of the year out of the field in appalling condition. You could see every rib, she had awful feet, and was covered in mud fever and rain scald. I brought her home and turned her out to grass where she began to steadily put on weight, nursed her mud fever and rain scald, and my wonderful farrier has rehabilitated her once shocking feet! I intended to keep Grace forever, but unfortunately I have recently taken on a new job which has seen my time for the horses reduced dramatically. I have my own yard and 4 horses - and something needs to give, so unfortunately I've made the heartbreaking decision to find Grace the perfect new home for her to continue her journey. I had intended to show Grace inhand next season, and eventually bring her into ridden work. I know she has previously bred foals - but her ridden history is near and far between. I have managed to track down one of her previous owners who was unfortunately unsuccessful at breaking her - but she also had issues with her on the ground, which I have not seen! Grace has been nothing but a dream for me in every way - she's fabulous on the ground, she is fabulous with the farrier, she comes to call in the field, she's great to rug/brush etc - I have NEVER seen an ounce of mareish behaviour even when she's been in season - apart from flirting with the geldings that is! I've had tack on her - also not a problem. I was told by a previous owner it was a fight and battle to even get a bridle on but I have never had an issue - I pop a treat in my hand when giving her the bit (as I found the information out from the previous owner before I tried her with tack) and she has never been an issue. Grace still has some topline to gain but this will come with work and time I believe. I'm in no rush to sell - this is heartbreaking and I want the perfect home. Ideally, due to not knowing her ridden history and not wanting her to be passed around, I'd like her to go to someone as a broodmare or ideally as an in-hand show horse - I really believe she has the potential to go all the way to the top! I'm happy for her to go with some rugs and her headcollar. I have a figure in mind but price is negotiable to the best home only. She has been wormed and had her feet done within the past 2 weeks. She's currently barefoot and has no problems. 16.1 Warmblood mare. KT is a very sweet natured mare who would make a perfect summer project. She is not a novice ride as she can be spooky but she is otherwise a very nice responsive ride. She needs work with her canter as she rushes into it quite quickly, and due to me having a huge confidence loss from my old horse I have not been working on this as much as I should. She will hack alone or in company, I have not done a lot of jumping with her other than on the lunge. Although she was jumping up to 80cm with her old owner. She is starting to work in an outline but needs more work on this. This is a very heartbreaking sale and only due to not being able to afford livery charges anymore. I have not got any ridden videos or photos but I will try to get some soon. Will go with all rugs and bridle. Saddle at an additional price.
