I have came into the possession of a Young Akie monitor. The person who had it just wanted to get rid of it as it was an ex boyfriends who just left. It wasn't being kept in a perfect set up, so I took the monitor and then went and bought the full set up - see pictures. The animal itself was checked over by a professional who confirmed it was in good health. It's very tame and measures about 5 inches right now, but will grow to about 2.5 feet. it comes in a brand new Viv exotics vivarium. Brand new UV strip spotlight and the best type of substrate for it. it also has a brand new ceramic heater. After about 18 months it would be advisable to get larger Viv. This one is 2ft length, 1 foot deep and 1 foot depth. An ackie normally retails for about £. The brand new tank and all equipment came to £170. I am prepared to sell the complete set up for £200. I can deliver as long as it's within a reasonable distance and I would then have to factor in petrol costs. I have a Red Ackie Monitor Lizard plus full set up for sale. He is about 3 years old and unfortunately I just do not have the time to give him the attention he requires because of this he is not very tame and requires a fair bit of handling. Saying this he would make a brilliant and rewarding pet for someone who can give him the time and attention he needs. The Vivarium measures 760 wide x 400 deep x 450 high. Yellow spotted ackie and set up

Flash was brought from a pet shop 8 months ago. Unfortunately due to a lack of time i dont think its fair to keep him and let someone wih more time enjoy him. He is very active during the day and loves to come out of his viv. Will hapilly take food from tongs but is fun tow atch him chase after his prey. flash is missing parts of his toes on his front feet. This was due to poor husbandry before i had him. He was born without a bone in his left front leg so is turned inwards. This doesnt affect him in anyway and is a very happy ackie. The viv is 4x2x2 and was brought when i got flash. I have a dubia cockroach colony which i have bred so he has a constant supply of food. Circa 800 cockroaches or so.
