Sad sale of much loved year old New Forest gelding.  My daughter is doing her A levels and is struggling to find time to ride.  Fudge is excellent to hack and my daughter regularly rides out with groups of 4 or 5 and by herself.  He loves jumping and has competed at 3 feet, would also be suitable at cross country, and pony club.  Does put in the occasional excitable buck but nothing nasty.  Due to lack of facilities he is green in the school.  No vices good to shoe, load etc.  Prefers to live out even in the rain and snow! 3 year old spotted pony for sale

Trevor is an adorable just turned 3 little gelding. This little man will be perfect as a jumping pony as he has a cracking jump on him. He is super friendly and extra nosey. He has an amazing little character and will make someone a cracking pony. We have done groundwork with him but due to having no time to further his education or have an experienced little rider for him we have made the heartbreaking decision to sell him. He is up to date with worming, farrier but not injections. His teeth are booked in to be done in may (unless he is sold before then) all this reflects in his price. I brought Travis as a happy hacker with a view to doing schooling but unfortunately due to career commitments and lack of time i have had to come to the sad decision to sell my boy. Hacks out alone and in company. Amazing in heavy traffic/ tractors. You name it he will pass it. Very good on the roads. Amazing to catch and a very friendly loving boy. Good to handle on the ground and tacks up with no problem. Loves being brushed and fussed. Not feet sensitive. Easy to pick and very good with the farrier. Currently has no shoes on as the farrier explained he has very good feet structure and does not need them. I believe he would be no problem if a new owner did want to shoe him. Good to put fly masks and rugs on. Although i am not a jumper myself i have popped a few logs on him over the forest and he goes over with ease. I have began schooling Travis since I've had him and he is very green in the school. Although he has come on in the few lessons i have took him. He can be lazy so needs someone to ride him forward and give him that confidence to go for it. Travis is very good to load and travels in company and alone. Our adorable pony is well schooled, has great paces is easy to ride and is for sale due to being outgrown by my daughter. He has many years left in him and looks amazing. He really is up for anything, he is excellent in the heaviest of traffic including lorries, double deckers, combine harvesters, skip lorries etc. He hacks alone perfectly either by himself or with company, he competes regularly and does well in Working Hunter Classes, Showing, Xcountry, Showjumping, Dressage, Hunter trials, Long Distant rides, ODE and has been attending PC for the last three years including rallies and 4 day camp and area dressage. Currently jumping any height up to 2'6" maximum. Happy to go through water. Happy to be first or last. He will stand tied up to a trailor all day or can be happily left inside a trailor at shows. He always does well at shows and in the ribbons. Happy to be ridden bareback. He is excellent to catch, trim, pulling mane, bath, lunge, load, clip, worm, farrier and is up to date with worming, teeth, vaccinations and back. He does not barge and is happy to be sprayed with flyspray etc. Lives in or out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Happy to be in a stable on straw or shavings. Happy to have dry or wet hay. He has front shoes on every 5-6 weeks to keep his toes short. Has not lost a shoe since we have owned him. Excellent with electric fencing. He does not particularly like his girth being done up but if you speak to him before you do it he is usually fine. Brilliant with sheep chickens dogs etc. He is looking for a confident lightweight adult / child / teenager to enjoy his fun loving, cheeky character. I have also ridden him but I am too heavy. I am 5'6" and easily suits my height as he is a hunter type. His breeding is unknown. He can be a novice ride on the lead rein as my Daughter started off on the lead rein with him but would not suit a total novice off the read rein as he can be a bit cheeky and put in the odd titchy little buck which is easy to sit and not nasty in anyway (he would not do this with an adult or teenager). He is very happy to adapt to the level of any rider. He has been part of our life for 3 years and the previous owner for 10years (we still keep in contact with them). Have loads of photos and videos. I am genuinely an honest person and keep in contact with our last pony that we sold three years ago and would like to do the same with whoever buys our lovely Brambles. He comes with a very good quality snaffle bridle, saddle, rugs etc. He has slight arthritis in his near fore foot but does not normally need any treatment and this does not affect him. He would also be perfect for a mother / daughter share or an adult who wants to have fun hacking and having a go at anything as he can carry up to stone. Happy to answer any questions at all but hopefully I have detailed everything in this advert This is a very difficult decision for my 11 year old daughter.
