Parting ways with my long serving AN1X to make way for some new gear. Few scuffs and scratches as expected for its age and a couple of the knobs have been replaced. In full working order and given a service a few years ago. Generally still rated as one of the best VA's around, incredibly flexible sound engine and lovely key action. Give it a good home! Hi..I have here a lovely Yamaha AN1X physical modelling performance synth and also a Roland MC808. Both are in full working order with no damage, The Yamaha AN1X is the usual high quality build to be expected from Yamaha's top end synths, This synth is velocity sensitive and also has aftertouch for more expressive power. It has 8 control knobs with multifunction implementation, ribbon controller, pitch and modulation wheels, built in arpeggiator and pattern sequencer. The keys have a good feel with quality typical of Yamaha's long history in piano making, although not hammer action or weighted they are firm and have a nice spring resistance with no sloppiness of action. This is a performance synth that creates its sounds using physical modelling. If you want something that creates big evolving sounds or emulates the classic analogue synths of bygone days this baby will do it, The arpeggiator, ribbon controller and control knobs allow for some stupendous big evolving sounds. With control knobs, ribbon controller and aftertouch this could be a great controller keyboard through MIDI to your computer software synths. Also on offer a Roland MC808 groovebox. The last built of the classic Roland machines. This was their swansong final machine with all the bells and whistles. This has eight motorised faders assignable to sixteen tracks with memory location that control many different functions in editing and mixing sounds. Sixteen tracks of sound synthesis or samples plus lots and lots of patterns and sounds in its extensive library of presets. This unit has the maximum allocation of RAM fitted which allows for 102 minutes of sampling. Either mix from the huge amount of sounds, grooves and samples already onboard or make your own with mic and audio inputs. There is also MIDI in, out..USB...and Vlink for linking video mixing to the MC808. As part of the performance playing along with pads and sliders there is an Ibeam which is an optical sensor designed to play or filter sounds with hand motion. The MC808 is basically a complete music composition tool for building quite complex (or simple) multitrack projects. I am seeking £300 each but I am willing to sell both together for £500 and might throw in the quality two tier stand as a complete bundle.
