X4 male degu ready for rehoming with John Hopwell cage. My partner and I rescue rodents (mainly rats) but take in the occasional degu. We took these boys on in the summer of last year when someone had dumped them in a rescue centre. Three of the boys are brothers and one is a single rescue we took in around the same time that we successfully introduced to the group. They are all lovely boys, never bitten and will come to your hand. We are looking for a forever home with someone who has experience with degu's. We are willing to let them go with the cage they are in but there won't be any accessories as we need them for our other rescues. Please message with any questions. Ad ID:

Henry and Alvin are now looking for their forever home! My partner and I rescue and rehome rodents. We currently have X2 male degu that would benefit from a loving forever home that can provide them with more attention than we can currently give them. We have had these degu from birth and up until recently they were part of a larger group. Unfortunately Henry had a falling out with some of the other degu's and they had to be split up. We are rehoming our 2 beautiful boys due to change in circumstances, we have had them for 3 years and have been a joy to look after. Our white and brown boy is missing part of his tail but that doesn't effect him at all. The Degu's will come with everything they need including a 4 tier 6 foot cage which they have called home for the 3 years, they are easy to maintain and cheap to keep. 4 year old pale/grey degu looking for a responsible experienced home. He is a very dominant degu so will be best suited with a submissive male or neutered and paired with a female. Lovely boy who doesn't mind being handled, and has never bitten anyone. He comes back into his cage when you shake his oats jar during free time. He is used to being out of his cage everyday for a few hours so would like a home that can continue to offer this as he has lots of energy and loves to explore. If this isn't viable, a larger enclosure would be great as this thickets cage was connected to a much larger cage so he will be losing a lot of space once it's disconnected. Comes with a large pet's at home thickets cage with all accessories, food, hay, sawdust ect, he loves his tube hammock and wheel!! He also has a large ball so he can get plenty of exercise outside of his cage. Very friendly and comes out to see you when you call him, never bites and never has in the past. Usually these rodents should live in pairs or groups but he was on his own when adopted due to bullying others. He has encountered other degus and seemed okay (he once had a short term lodger) but I'm not sure how he would be long term living with another. Lovely silly tame male degu and cage

Having to part with my lovely little chap due to house renovation. He is around a year old and comes with his cage, toys and exercise ball, food, sawdust ect The cage is a pet's at home 'thicket' wire cage and is a fair size. Silly tame and comes to you instantly, loves tickles all over his body, especially his tummy and behind his ears. He's on his own because he bullied the others badly at the pet shop!!
