Would say in very good used condition but does have a few issues in that a repair is needed to one of the side utility straps and 2 of the small leather tabs at the bottom are damaged. Most importantly is that the stitching around the leather frame support appear to be solid as this is a major weak spot on these. Pack is dated 44 and the frame 43. Read more

WW2 British Army Ridge Tent

This is a WW2 British Army ridge tent . It measures: 9ft long to the point at the back, 6ft wide, 6ft high, and the wall is 2ft 6inches. There is stencilled writing on both sides: BAHRAT (India) TW, , CX/P, B arrow on one side, IDEAL TRADING, BOMBAY H6 P, BD ARROW 16 on the other. The canvas is in good condition other than two small holes where a mouse got at it before I got to the mouse. The poles are original one of which has a slight curve and a couple of the locking metal cleats are missing. There are a selection of pegs some of which are wooden and could be original. Some of the guy ropes have no adjusters and some could do with extra stitching to the canvas. One of the pole locating holes on the ridge has been repaired. British Army Bergen Rucksack

British Army Bergen Rucksack 100ltr, in new condition with side pockets but no yoke supplied. ideal for long hikes, camping or someone wishing to train for entry to the armed forces. With the 2 side pouches has a capacity of approximately 120 litres. The main compartment has a nylon upper shroud closure which is tightened by a cord and cord lock and there is an internal and external pocket in the attached lid. Internally there is an aluminium frame to provide rigidity and strength. The padded carrying straps are adjustable and there is an adjustable waist belt for stability. The side pouches can be detached and with a requisite day pack yoke (not supplied) they make a 10 or 20 litres day pack depending on whether one or both side pouches are used. This is a superb, strong and field tested rucksack that has been proven time and again.
