THIS IS A GENUINE BRASS CHRISTMAS TIN FROM WW. IT WAS A GIFT FROM PRINCESS MARY TO THE SOLDIERS. IT IS INSCRIBED WITH THE ALLIED COUNTRIES, BELGIUM, FRANCE, SERVIA, JAPAN, RUSSIA, MONTENEGRO. AT THE TOP IN THE MIDDLE IT READS "IMPERIUM BRITANNICUM", AT THE BOTTOM IN THE MIDDLE IT READS "CHRISTMAS ". IT IS IN REALLY GOOD CONDITION FOR IT'S AGE, THE HINGE IS GOOD, AND THE LID SHUTS FIRMLY. The gilded brass tins or cases have the image of Princess Mary, with the letter M on either side, above CHRISTMAS . The edge decoration has the names of the British Allies in WWI. A vintage brass camping stove (I think by Valor) with original accessories as seen in the photos. The box is metal apart from one side which is meant to be pulled out to use as a windshield. Also included extra to the original set are a sweet little enamel funnel, and period meths tin with stopper on a chain. I haven't tried to use it, so it is sold as seen, but I assume it is all there. Look closely to be sure nothing is missing as everything is shown in the photos.
