Antique Writing Bureau for sale. 3 drawers with leaded glass display cabinet. Restoration project.

Old writing bureau with drawers and leaded glass display cabinet for sale. This belonged to a family member and is at least 40 years old. I don’t know what the wood is. Main part with drawers measures 39” high, 24” across and 16” deep. The top section with leaded glass front and locks with key, measures 32” high, 24” across and is 8” deep. Restoration project. Some writing and markings on top and left hand side, but would come off with sanding down and re-waxing. Masking tape on the drawers would peel off. Charming old piece of furniture in need of a lot of love. As you can tell from the pictures it's a mid century writing desk, missing one of the main drawers. (I've kept this part stacked with magazines). It's got some other cute features - like two little miniature drawers, just below the top, and these are lined with dark red velvet inside. Otherwise - a real DIY object. The desk is sold as seen - it's got loads of marks and wear so please make sure you are aware of it's condition. This boat has been left abandoned at our club for two years and after trying to contact the last owner on many occasions the club have decided to dispose of the boat as they see fit.
