Writing Desk, WOODEN WRITING BUREAU DESK, Solid oak writing bureau – Adam Bede Solid Oak Bureau with drop down writing desk slope, in a good condition, however I would like to point out that it has on the top right hand corner a small damage which would need touching up. The bureau comes from Adam Bede. It comes in two parts and will fit in any car. Has 6 drawers for pens, stamps etc. and a leather insert in the writing section. It is very pretty. We are sad to see this family heirloom go but simply have no space for it now. It's in good condition with no major blemishes on the wood. There's lots of room to keep stationary and important documents inside. It still has the original leather on the drop down desk and arms come out automatically from the sides, to support the desk, when the desk is lifted downwards. The drop down desk can be locked and we still have the key. There are two shelves and a draw underneath, but this draw and cupboard cannot be locked.
