Gorgeous wood bureau which started life in the typical orange pine stain. Complete makeover needed! Painted in cocoa, a muted grey/brown tone, with botanical inspired interior decor; bramwell green and monstera print decouoage. Original writing pad still in place with some wear as would be expected. Far too beautiful to cover-up and gives this piece some real character. Decorative locks on each drawer (are original but no keys available!) and finished with brass half moon pulls as the modern round handles just didn't fit the character of this lovely desk! £100 OVNO to reflect the unique nature of the piece. I have painted it in off white colour, drawers sides and inside the writing compartment black then used a black glaze to make the features stand out. Waxed all over to make it more durable. There's lots of room to keep stationary and important documents inside.
