Hand painted oak bureau / writing desk, Beautiful hand painted oak bureau, with carving details on the legs. I was told it was in the family since ties. Much loved and needed some tlc. I have painted it in off white colour, drawers sides and inside the writing compartment black then used a black glaze to make the features stand out. Waxed all over to make it more durable. Bottom of the draws are layered with nice paper. Hardware is still original, just spray painted in black.
